Named after Henry Taylor, this room contains a queen-size bed with pencil posts. There is a private water closet, as well as the claw-foot tub from the 1935 renovation with a 12-inch "rain" showerhead. The room overlooks historic Broadway and the
windows contain the original leaded-glass panes.
Henry was John Taylor's youngest son. Cece Taylor-Rice, Henry's daughter, remembers her father talking about his older brothers. Apparently, the four older boys were a fairly rough bunch, and Henry took many a tumble down the steps as punishment for being the youngest of the five.
